Service Description
Before receiveing Acupuncture it is important that your practitioner have your thorough health history including previous medications & surgeries, and an understanding of your current: medications, lifestyle, & level of functionality in your body systems. This information is also vital for your Practitioner to be able to make an "herbal" diagnosis of your imbalances for the purpose of selecting an apropriate Chinese Herbal formula to compliment the Acupuncture. Regular Acupuncture treatments combined with taking a daily herbal formula is like getting a mini treatment every day to support the periodic, regular Acupuncture. This is the prefered option for those on prescription drugs who wish to lighten the burden on their bodies by reducing or eliminating pharmaceuticals. Natural herbal formulas can be the bridge between chemical dependancy and independeance. Your practioner will do analysis on your information to make a zhang fu (identify the organ system in pathology according to with a description of the pathology) diagnosis after your visit then select the best herbal formula for your health situation. A follow-up contact will be made to inform you about the formula, obtain approval & payment for the herbs - which are a separate cost from the diagnostic work. Cancellation Policy
To alter a scheduled appointment, call or text 904-580-3980, or use the WhatsApp chat feature on the website to communicate what you want to change. The timestamp of the message will be construed as the time notice was given to the Clinic. Rescheduling an appointment does not result in a fee. The Clinic understands there is a need for flexibility with so many demands for your time. Try your best to not reschedule at the last moment or multiple times for the same appointment. It turns out the more stressed you are over demands on you, getting a treatment at that time can replenish reserves so you do not get depleted, which worsens health & happiness. Cancellations only results in a fee if the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours (2 calendar days) of the scheduled appointment. The cancellation fee is 50% of the price of the services booked. OM Connection reserves the right to wave the Cancellation Fee on a case by case basis. OM Connection reserves the right to interpret a Reschedule done within 48 hours of the appointment that then leads to a Cancellation as a Cancellation Fee triggering event. A No-show+no-call event will be charged the full price of the services booked. In the case of deposits collected online at the time of booking, those will be applied against the Cancellation Fee or No-show+no-call Fee, whichever fee has been incurred.
