Service Description
Maximum 5 Patients. Perfect choice for a family, a group of friends, or mix of family & friends. Can be conducted at the Clinic or at the home or meeting space of one of the Patients in the group. Available even on weekends or evenings when everyone can join. If participants arrive early we will do stretching & qigong to prepare the body for the needles. The points receiving needles are limited to the ear, head, elbow to finger tips, and knee to toe tips. These are powerful points that can accomplish a lot. Wear clothing that allows easy access to these areas without restricting body circulation when moved back, i.e. tight pant legs, tight sleeves. By doing a private intake beforehand (over the phone) to gather PHI personal health information, when we do meet for our scheduled Group Acupuncture, your points that are perfect for you as an individual along with a plan for your future treatments so that you reach your health goals will have already been determined. The group decides who goes first; that person receives needles in his/her points that are retained until the end of the session. He/she stays reclined in comfort while the next person gets his/her points needled, until everyone has their needles in place. Music will be provided by the Practitioner or the group. If the group prefers to talk, that's fine too. No cell phones or TV at this time. This is a cost effective way to get your loved ones on a health journey with you. A great method to get help for teens who might not want to admit they need assistance, or a family member that needs sobriety support. If your family & friends are willing to try, even for shits & giggles, they might end up with positive movement in several areas of their lives. Tack on something fun before or after group treatment to make it an unforgetable day, like miniature golf, boating, karaoke, bowling, favorite restaurant, etc. The group treatment sessions must be preceded by one-time, individual intake sessions conducted over the phone to create each Patient's file, purchased separately. If someone in the group has already had a New Patient Exam for Acupuncture or Herbal Medicine, there is no need to conduct another one.
Cancellation Policy
To alter a scheduled appointment, call or text 904-580-3980, or use the WhatsApp chat feature on the website to communicate what you want to change. The timestamp of the message will be construed as the time notice was given to the Clinic. Rescheduling an appointment does not result in a fee. The Clinic understands there is a need for flexibility with so many demands for your time. Try your best to not reschedule at the last moment or multiple times for the same appointment. It turns out the more stressed you are over demands on you, getting a treatment at that time can replenish reserves so you do not get depleted, which worsens health & happiness. Cancellations only results in a fee if the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours (2 calendar days) of the scheduled appointment. The cancellation fee is 50% of the price of the services booked. OM Connection reserves the right to wave the Cancellation Fee on a case by case basis. OM Connection reserves the right to interpret a Reschedule done within 48 hours of the appointment that then leads to a Cancellation as a Cancellation Fee triggering event. A No-show+no-call event will be charged the full price of the services booked. In the case of deposits collected online at the time of booking, those will be applied against the Cancellation Fee or No-show+no-call Fee, whichever fee has been incurred.
