Add burning of Mugwort & tonification style needling to a service
Service Description
Add moxabustion & tonification needling to the end of a Bodywork session if you have a medical history on file. For this add-on service, the Practitioner will carefully select just a few acupuncture points that "speak to" the Patient's predominant element (Wood/ Fire/ Earth/ Metal/ Water) per the 5 element lineage of acupuncture. When points are chosen in this Elemental way, with soothing, nourishing direct moxabustion applied to the points followed by tonification needling, it results in feeling "at home" inside yourself, like you are "back", like you found yourself. In this style of Acupuncture, the Practitioner is with you the entire time. Needles are not left in position with the Practitioner leaving you to your solitude. One point is needled at a time; that needle is removed and discarded before moving on to the next point. The Practitioner must have excellent point location skills & nuanced ability with needling, because the time duration that the needle is actually penetrating the skin is short - only a few moments. The overall feeling of this treatment is of being "ministered to". *** Please note that you do not have to purchase this add-on if you are willing to SUBTRACT the stated amount of time out of your Bodywork session or Acupuncture (with retained needles) session in order to receive moxa & tonification needling at the end of your session. Just mention your choice to end with 5E acupuncture in the Instructions section of the Booking form. This add-on purchase is for those who do not want the main service CUT SHORT. Thank you.
Cancellation Policy
To alter a scheduled appointment, call or text 904-580-3980, or use the WhatsApp chat feature on the website to communicate what you want to change. The timestamp of the message will be construed as the time notice was given to the Clinic. Rescheduling an appointment does not result in a fee. The Clinic understands there is a need for flexibility with so many demands for your time. Try your best to not reschedule at the last moment or multiple times for the same appointment. It turns out the more stressed you are over demands on you, getting a treatment at that time can replenish reserves so you do not get depleted, which worsens health & happiness. Cancellations only results in a fee if the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours (2 calendar days) of the scheduled appointment. The cancellation fee is 50% of the price of the services booked. OM Connection reserves the right to wave the Cancellation Fee on a case by case basis. OM Connection reserves the right to interpret a Reschedule done within 48 hours of the appointment that then leads to a Cancellation as a Cancellation Fee triggering event. A No-show+no-call event will be charged the full price of the services booked. In the case of deposits collected online at the time of booking, those will be applied against the Cancellation Fee or No-show+no-call Fee, whichever fee has been incurred.
